In short: The Villa Celebration is Alora Events' package for milestone birthdays, hen parties and bachelorettes, girls' trips and family reunions in rented villas across Cape Town and the Winelands. A balloon backdrop with the name or number, a styled dinner table for 12 and a welcome setup, set up while your group is out and cleared after. Starting price R9,500 (about $575, €515, £430) for up to 12 guests, booked from overseas with one organiser.

Twelve of you, a villa above the sea, a 40th or a hen weekend. You take them wine tasting for the afternoon. They walk back through the gate to a long candlelit table, a wall of balloons with her name in gold, and a party nobody knew was coming.

What we take care of

  • An organic balloon garland backdrop (3m) with the name or the number, placed where the photos will be taken
  • A dinner table for 12: linen, florals, candles, place cards and menu cards
  • A welcome setup: balloons and a sign at the door for the first arrival
  • One set-up visit while the group is out, one collection visit
  • The host's rules checked for you: pool, confetti, walls
  • Planning on WhatsApp with one organiser

For the whole trip

  • A sip and paint afternoon on the deck, from R550 per person (minimum 6, we bring everything but the sip)
  • A lawn picnic setup for 12 on a second afternoon, from R3,200

Planning with a group

Group trips work best with one person as our contact. That person builds the moment, pays the deposit and talks to us on WhatsApp. They can share the free Alora planner with the group for the guest list, the budget and who arrives when.

We set up while the group is out, on a Cape Point drive, a wine tasting or a boat trip, so the reveal happens when everyone walks back in.

December fills first

December to February is Cape Town's peak. Villas, restaurants and our calendar fill six to eight weeks out, and we take at most two visitor setups a day. If your group's big night is in that window, hold the date now and settle the details later. Christmas lunch and New Year's Eve tables for families spending December in Cape Town are quoted on the same package.
